Current and forthcoming exhibitions

April 17th to May 31st, 2008 (PV 17th April) - McGill Duncan Gallery, Castle Douglas. Major exhibition featuring approximately 30 works.

May 24th to 26th, 2008, Spring Fling (Dumfries and Galloway Open Studio event), Seymour House, Port William. I will also be demonstrating techniques in my studio over the weekend. For more details see www.spring-fling.co.uk.

June 14th to July 16th, the Rockcliffe Gallery, (Barons Craig Hotel, Rockcliffe), "Whaups and Heughs" solo exhibition of approximately 35 recent works.

July 5th to August 23rd "Flights of Fancy" - the Craft Shop, Gracefield Arts Centre. Work by three local bird artists.

July 18th to August 3rd - National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, Gordale.

August 1st to August 3rd - participating in Kirkcudbright Arts and Crafts Trail.

August 20th to August 30th 2008 Tolbooth Arts Centre, Kirkcudbright, "Land, sea, sky". Solo exhibition of work inspired by the landscape and wildlife of Galloway.

September 2008 - Moffat Chambers Gallery. Solo exhibition.

1998 Purchased etching press and began to build up a studio

1999 Sold 23 prints to the Nuffield foundation

2001 Solo exhibition at Cheltenham Art Gallery Cafe. Also won a place on the Artists' Access to Art Colleges scheme at the University of Gloucestershire which gave 100 hours access to their printmaking studio and a final exhibition

2003 Idlicote Exhibition, Warwickshire and Cheltenham Artists Group Exhibition. Also work selected for the Wrexham International Print Exhibition 2003/2004 and selected for membership of the Fosseway Artists' Group.

2004 Helios Group exhibition, North Cotswolds. Selected for membership of the Cheltenham Artists group

2005 Rostra Gallery Bath "New Start" exhibition.

2006 Joined the Galloway Artists and Makers group, solo exhibitions in Stranraer and Newton Stuart Libraries, set up own gallery and began to run workshops

2007 Solo exhibitions of bird works at the Wildfowl and Wetlands HQ in Slimbridge and in the WWT centre in Caerlaverock. First year Spring Fling participant. Solo exhibitions at Threave Gardens (National Trust), Gracefield Arts Centre and in the Tolbooth Arts Centre, Kirkcudbright. One of three artists exhibiting together at the Rockcliffe Gallery during August. Work accepted by the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (one work winning a national prize) and by the Society of Wildlife Artists annual open exhibition at the Mall Gallery, London. Artists book accepted by a touring (international) exhibition called arcadia id est. Commissioned by Gracefield Arts Centre to produce an illustration for a postcard used to promote the Spring Fling. Exhibited at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust centre at Caerlaverock (solo), in the Winter Warmth exhibition in Falkirk at the Park Gallery and at the Royal College of Edinburgh Physicians' Christmas Exhibition in Edinburgh.
